1 cup milk
2-3 small green cardamom seeds (elaichi)
2-3 pieces of cinnamon
1 tbsp. aniseed
6 cloves
some pepperkorns
3 tbsp. black tea (2-3 tea bags)

Crush the spices with a rolling pin or spice grinder. Combine the spices and water in a pan and let cook approx. 30 minutes.

Add tea and milk and let it come to a boil. Remove pan from heat, allow tea bags to remain and simmer approx. 15 minutes.

Remove tea bags and strain spices. Add sugar when serving.
