butter
2 finely chopped onions
2 finely chopped garlic cloves
1 red bell pepper cut into strips
2 cans of tomatoes (14.5 oz)
little buillion
1 finely chopped chili pepper without seeds
salt and pepper
2 cans red kidney beans
May wish to add more spice for stronger taste. Be careful with chili pepper

Direction:

Brown ground beef in an iron pot with a little butter. Add onions, chili pepper and bell pepper. Let sauté about 5 minutes. Stir in tomatoes, buillion and salt and pepper to taste. Cover and simmer 35 minutes. Add the beans and simmer 30 minutes more.

Serve in the pot with french bread and salad.
