Direction:

Bring the milk, butter and lard to the boil, add the other ingredients and knead. Cut the dough into lumps and roll thin. Keep between sheets of butter paper until all have been rolled. Fry on a hot griddle, white side first. Keep in a cloth to preserve moisture. Butter the lefse on the white side and fold in half twice. Store in a cool place.
