Direction:

1 to 2 days before cover codfish well with water. Change the water one or two times a day. Clean the codfish of skin and bones, cut up in small pieces. Lay the fish pieces lengthwise in a pot with raw potatoe slices, onion slices and strips of bell pepper. Blend together tomatoes, finely cut chili pepper, water and oil before pouring over in the pot. Let Bacalao mixture slow cook 40-50 minutes.
